This subject was covered extensively for graduation pictures and Confirmation. However, since the students do not wear robes for May Crowning, here are a few gentle reminders about appropriate dress for this very special day!
Girls
First of all, please know that robes will be
available for anyone not appropriately dressed. Emphasis is on
crowning Mary; dress should be modest
and appropriate as we honor HER.
- NO strapless/spaghetti straps—shoulders MUST be covered.
- NO low cut necklines.
- Skirts should be no more than 2 inches above the knee.
- Wear comfortable shoes; if you can’t walk in them, don’t wear them.
BOYS
- Suits are preferable, but definitely dress shirt and tie.
- Dress shoes—no gym shoes.
